Ver1.10 — Japanese hotfix (27 August 2026)
Circle Poison submitted both the base game and the DLC to DLsite and FANZA on 27 August 2026. The resubmission folder name is Ver1.10(NEW).
What was fixed
Combat image errors — The primary reason for the hotfix. Japanese players who encountered missing or corrupted battle graphics should re-download after the 27 August timestamp.
Butts skill update — Ver1.10 introduced a new mechanic: Butts can now use a special skill when a party member’s HP drops below one-third OR when a party member is in armor-break state. This was documented in the 17 August Ci-en article (published before the DLC).
For players challenging Butts in the mines on a Route 3 file:
- Ellis’s lower HP pool makes her vulnerable to the HP-threshold trigger
- Characters in armor-break are also at risk
- The recommended counter is a male mercenary tank who does not use the costume layer
Action required
If you own the Japanese version and still see combat image errors (missing sprites, corrupted portraits, broken battle UI):
- Go to your DLsite or FANZA purchase page
- Download the Ver1.10(NEW) version
- Replace your existing
wwwfolder - Copy your
www/savefolder to a backup first - Do not mix this with Steam Cloud — disable Cloud before replacing files
Save compatibility
Ver1.10 saves are compatible with Ver1.00 — you can copy www/save into the new folder. Circle Poison’s official stance: this copy is unsupported. If something breaks after the copy, they will not help. For Steam owners, this paragraph only applies if you also own the Japanese tree.
Kagura Steam/GOG Patch v1.00
Released: 28–29 August 2026, hosted on Kagura Games’ product page.
Kagura distributes an extra-content patch separate from the base English build. This is not the DLC — it restores or adds adult scenes and costume variants that the storefront build trims.
What the patch does
- Restores or adds adult scenes trimmed from the Steam/GOG storefront version
- Adds costume variants for existing scenes
- Aligns the English install with the “full” Kagura copy for gallery/recollection matching
What the patch does not do
- Is not a performance fix (see controls for hitching menus)
- Is not a new route (see routes for the three-route split)
- Is not the DLC (see DLC for the August 2026 pack)
- Is not a trainer or achievement unlocker
Install order
- Verify Steam install (Properties → Installed Files → Verify)
- Close all overlay tools (Steam, Discord, Razer Synapse, etc.)
- Download v1.00 from Kagura’s product page
- Copy files into the game root (
steamapps/common/Imperial Knights) - Overwrite when asked
- Launch and check the gallery for new thumbnails
If thumbnails do not appear after patching, you either patched the wrong folder or launched once before patching (some MV titles recreate vanilla www on first boot — launch vanilla first, then patch).
Steam 1.00 — English base build
Released: 28 August 2026, app 4353650.
The storefront build sold on Steam. What shipped:
- Diana Ashley’s House Ashley plot, Luna missing, Robert dishonored
- Adventurers’ Guild requests, day/night investigation
- Turn-based battles, temporary allies, mercenary hires
- Three-route split (guild fee choice + hideout outcome)
- Ether Knight class on every path
- English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese interface
What Steam 1.00 does not include:
- The Kagura v1.00 extra-content patch (separate download from Kagura’s site)
- The Japanese DLC (sold separately on DLsite; Kagura preparing Steam SKU)
- Achievements (not advertised at launch)
- Mac/Linux support (Windows only at launch)
DLC pack — Japanese DLsite (21 August 2026)
Released one week before the English Steam launch. For full details, see DLC notes. Summary:
- Three high-difficulty guild jobs (one per route)
- 16 new battle CGs
- 12 new event CGs
- Extra bind modes per heroine
- RJ01696737 on DLsite, FEjR-2026-08 catalog style
Steam 1.00 does not include this pack. Kagura is preparing a separate Steam DLC SKU; no date announced yet.
